The staff at Sammy's were truly wonderful. We arrived for our holiday very late in the evening, after most people would have gone to bed, but the staff at Sammy's were waiting for us and did everything they could to get us comfortable and settled. Our room was exceptionally clean and the cleaning staff was very thorough during our stay as well and made sure we were kept in clean towels and our bed was changed regularly. We LOVED this hotel! I can't say enough good things about Sammy's Hotel, in fact. The staff is marvelous. From day one, we were treated as though we were royalty and given all kinds of extras. We'd booked a full month in North Cyprus, so upon check-in, they gave us a free upgrade to a suite, even though we'd only paid for a regular room. My husband and I visited North Cyprus and stayed at Sammy's Hotel for a few days awhile back and unfortunately we were disappointed in the service. Sammy's 'does what it says on the tin.' Fancy it is not, pretentious it is not. It has all you need, it is good value and in a quiet area and a short walk from the centre.Bathrooms could be better, but that's being a bit picky.Breakfast was good for a hotel of this class. My family and I went to Sammy's Hotel for three nights whilst visiting family in Cyprus. We found the place to be very reasonably priced and comfortably (if not spectacularly) provisioned. The air conditioning was a particularly welcome addition as it had been swelteringly hot during our stay, and it worked perfectly throughout the day and night.Breakfast, which we ate at the hotel, is served from 0800 to 1100 and is relatively good for the price. My family of four stayed in a hotel on the Greek side of the island for three nights. We wanted to make a surprise visit to extended family members, so we went over to the Turkish side for another three nights.Our rooms were a nice size and we were glad of the air conditioning and the fridge. Sammy's is a small, family-run hotel that has a lot of loyal guests who return year after year, which can make newbies like us feel like we've just walked into a club we're not a member of... yet!
