My husband and I stayed at the Denizkizi Hotel for the first time last month and it is a very nice hotel. we've been to northern cyprus before and enjoyed it. We had a pretty low budget so we were limited in where we could stay, so we opted for a three star hotel. I really wasn't expecting to be impressed, but we got much more than we paid for. The hotel had all the amenities that we required, it was very well kept, neat tidy, clean and it smelled great. I have stayed at many hotels at this price... more
My husband & I & two friends stayed at the Denizkizi Royal Hotel for 5 days (30.Dec/3.Jan). All the hotel staff were friendly & efficient. Our 2 rooms were very pleasant, a good size & clean with a lovely view of the bay & mountains. The heating in the bedroom was excellent. We were half board - the food was good, with a hot & cold selection, as it was buffet you could eat as much or as little as you wanted. A good selection of teas at breakfast as well as coffee. New Year's Eve was most... more
There are two Deniziki hotels; one is three stars the other four. They are both right next to each other, we stayed at the three star hotel. I found the hotel through Go North Cyprus, and they were very accurate in their description of it. We stayed in a small room, number 230 to be precise, it is not one of the rooms with a balcony, but that doesn't really matter because the balconies are so small that you can't sit out on them, they are more for hanging your clothes out to dry. Despite the size... more
My husband and I brought our two kids here for a 2 week break during school summer holidays. The Denizkizi hotel is an ideal family hotel. My husband and I came here years ago by ourselves and we had a great time, but this time we wanted to make sure we picked a hotel that is good for families. We could not have picked a better place than the Denizkizi Hotel. We chose to upgrade to a suite and it was perfect for us! The rooms were large, airy and comfortable. All rooms here at the Denizkizi... more
We recently stayed at the Denizkizi Hotel on the advice of a friend who had stayed here last year and who highly recommended it. We were not disappointed. This hotel is set in a lush, tropical oasis in Northern Cyprus. It's on the water, so there's access to the sea. The whole setting is very tranquil and peaceful and we fell in love with the place the moment we saw it.The staff is wonderful and went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed ourselves and had everything we needed. Our room was... more
We stayed in the 3-star Denizkizi, not the 4-star Denizkizi Royal, perpendicular to it.We stayed in room 301 - a small room with no balcony. (At Denizkizi, there is actually no need for a balcony room because balconies are very small and useful only for airing laundry.) Although the room was small, it was well appointed and I really thank GoNorthCyprus for finding me accommodation with just 3 day's notice. The property is attractive. The beachfront is located in a crescent-shaped cove and is private... more
Beach and pool brill, room clean, large enough and most staff friendly, most speak English to a degree their English 100 percent better than my Turkish. The down side was no room service, only tried once after walk up St Hillarion, too tired for eve meal so phoned down at half seven ordered 2 cheese sandwiches, fruit and 2 keo,s, phone went after 5 mins to be told 'food from balcony of other hotel, why not have that!' I enquired why no room service to be informed cooks cooking evening meal over other... more
At the Denizkizi, I booked a room at the 3 star hotel, hoping that we might be able to sneak into the bigger 4 star hotel if need be. No sneaking required, as the two hotels operate as one, and guests can move freely between the two. This actually proved to be a real bonus for us 3 star guests, as we could use the enormous pool with its fancy waterfall, the grounds, the beach, the beachfront restaurant, the lot, and not feel like we shouldn't have been there. The private beach really was a joy,... more
My fiancé and I stayed at the Denizkizi Hotel last week and were so impressed!! We were desperate to get away but couldn't afford to be too extravegant. We went for a 3 star with honest expectations, but what we actually got was far more, we were so impressed! The Denizkizi was clean, well equipped and staff were friendly. We were expecially impressed by the array of restaurants we could visit, offering everything from the very traditional to cuisine for the more simple tastes. Although we did not... more
We loved our holiday here! A perfect day was lying on the beach which curved right around the little bay, just soaking up the sun! The hotel served a great buffet breakfast, we had lunch at the beachside restaurant or at the pool bar and in the evening we had the local Cyprus menu, which was really nice food. Our two 'terrible teenagers' loved the large pool, and swimming in the sea, and the staff made them really welcome. Our rooms were just fine, with good ensuite bathrooms, and thank goodness... more
Comfortable stay at the Denizkizi Royal. Good breakfast selection, dinner buffet, but hotel is also close to Kyrenia town restaurants via local bus. Clear sea view from room. Short transfer from Ercan airport via taxi.... more
