went to the hotel as a visitor today with my husband and 5 year old son .... paid for the tickets at the entrance and headed to the pool area where we were met by a man (the one responsible for the swimming pool area) coming towards us with a gloomy face telling us "yes" in a very rude way!!!! my husband showed him the tickets and we sat down then we all went in the pool to find this man again coming to us saying that I can not go into the pool with my Islamic swim_suit!!! tried to explain to him... more

Lovely place, staff and food.Could do with a kettle in the room for in the morning before the walk to the Denizkizi for breakfast.Stayed in the Denizkizi Royal and it had balconies whereas the other hotel didn't which made a difference for us.Pool lovely and clean but no clear markers as to the pool depth.Sea and beach tidy but just a bit overkill with sun-loungers,again beach staff very helpful.Always ask the taxi price as it can vary .Well worth 10 days of holiday,2 weeks might be a a bit too... more

Review of Hotel DenizkiziWe arrived at around 10pm local time after having been picked up at the airport by a very nice young man and his mum in a plush Mercedes. This was a great start and we were well impressed with our travel agent for this ( go north ) in fact the whole journey so far had gone like clockwork. We pulled up to the Deniziki rather than the Royal as I had deliberately booked this one following the reviews of both beforehand. It was a little annoying to be told that we were at the... more

My husband and I have just come back from a wonderful holiday to North Cyprus, staying at the glorious Denizkizi Hotel. We were so impressed with everything the hotel had to offer and will probably come back next year. We were also very impressed with North Cyprus as a holiday resort as we'd never been before. We booked our stay at the Denizkizi on a bed and breakfast basis, through Go North Cyprus. We found Sue to be really helpful as she recommended some lovely places to visit such as the mountains... more

A favourite hotel of ours now for many years, The Deniz Kizi did not disappointment when we returned this November for two weeks. The fact that the owner is to be found most days surveying the gardens and the performance of the staff and eats in the hotel restaurant proves that the standards are never allowed to slip. A wonderful hotel for children with beach and pool handy and also for older visitors who have walk in showers in their rooms and beautiful gardens and terraces in which to sit and... more

My family and I have just come back from the best half term holiday we've ever had. We couldn't afford to go away during the summer holidays so waited until prices were a little cheaper. We booked our stay through Gary at Go North Cyprus Holidays and he got us a brilliant deal considering we were travelling at a peak time! The Denizkizi Royal hotel had literally everything we could ever ask for in a holiday. It had excellent facilities for the kids, including large pool areas and its own beach and... more

All in all I had a lovely break, Hotel was really nice and clean, friendly staff, great tasty food, nice private beach and a lovely large swimming pool.Loved the fact you did not have to worry about putting towels on your sunbed at 6am in the mornings as there were plenty of empty sunbeds throughout the day on the beach and by the pool area. Also loved the Taxi transfers to and from the Hotel they were on time and were direct from airport to hotel vice versa non of this stopping off at 3 or 4 hotels... more

I've just come back from my first holiday abroad with our two children and had the best time! I never thought I'd find a resort so perfect as North Cyprus and I never thought I'd find a hotel which catered for our every need! We booked through Mandy at Go North Cyprus and she told us that many families had recommended the hotel and I'm happy to say that we are now one of those families! The Denizkizi Royal Hotel is in a brilliant location: a short distance away from the local shops and restaurants... more

Just a couple of days ago, we returned home from having a week long break in this hotel. We have a lot of good things to say about the place, and would fully recommend it to most groups of people. You can tell that there has been a lot of work done in recent years to make this a wonderful place to stay for the guests. The rooms are beautiful and of a decent size, meaning that you have your own space in which to relax. We can also tell that the menus are well thought out. There are enough different... more

We stayed at the Denizkizi 3 star, not the Royal and although pleasant and clean, it didn't quite do it for us; there was an underlying atmosphere of lack of care. The rooms are nice - big picture windows with amazing views and clean but again, a lack of customer care seemed prevalent. No useful info in the rooms and it is only several days into your stay when you become aware of all the things you wanted to know at the start by a process of elimination. The staff weren't 'unpleasant' but they certainly... more

If you're looking for somewhere that you could have a nice relaxing break in Northern Cyprus away from your hectic life, then this is definitely the place for you. That's what we were aiming for, and it's definitely what we got thanks to GoNorthCyprus (ask for Gary). The place itself is nice and quiet, and you have the chance of getting the bus to the surrounding area which has everything that you could want. When we went, there didn't seem to be many children, and I found that this definitely added... more

I have just come back from a last minute winter sun trip to Alsancak and stayed at the Denizkizi Hotel with my husband. We both retired two years ago and have been enjoying some lovely holidays abroad but are looking for somewhere to visit on a regular basis. We only booked the Denizkizi because it was one of the hotels on offer but were so impressed that we are already planning our return trip! The hotel is spacious and immaculately clean. The rooms easily meet this standard too. They are very well... more

Enormously relaxing, clean and very well run by resident family owners who are visible every day giving a careful eye to efficiency. They do an excellent job. The staff they employ are a delight to deal with and nothing is too much trouble for them. I and mywife would certainly return to this hotel. We found it a delightful touch in providing a golf buggy to convey you some 200 yards both up and down a very steep path to the beach.... more

Firstly I'd like to start by thanking our booking agent, Sue (gonorthcyprus.com) for all the help and advice she gave me booking up a group of 6 pensioners – no easy task in itself! The group had voted to visit northern cyprus and Sue had suggested the hotel to be one which would be suitable for us. Our group were all pensioners but all individually self sufficient so the group wanted to be close to one another but also have an element of privacy. We booked at the Denziki Hotel (there were actually... more

We stayed at the Denizkiki, as opposed to the Denizkiki Royal which is right next door and connected by a shared dining room/bar. We can't pass comment on the Royal, but the Denizkiki itself impressed us thoroughly! This hotel was a recommedation from GoNorthCyprus booking company so we'd hoped it would live up to its expectations as our last visit to North Cyprus was excellent. We visited just shortly after the recent renovation of the building and as such the hotel had a very pristine, modern... more

My husband and I stayed at the Denizkizi Hotel for the first time last month and it is a very nice hotel. we've been to northern cyprus before and enjoyed it. We had a pretty low budget so we were limited in where we could stay, so we opted for a three star hotel. I really wasn't expecting to be impressed, but we got much more than we paid for. The hotel had all the amenities that we required, it was very well kept, neat tidy, clean and it smelled great. I have stayed at many hotels at this price... more

My husband & I & two friends stayed at the Denizkizi Royal Hotel for 5 days (30.Dec/3.Jan). All the hotel staff were friendly & efficient. Our 2 rooms were very pleasant, a good size & clean with a lovely view of the bay & mountains. The heating in the bedroom was excellent. We were half board - the food was good, with a hot & cold selection, as it was buffet you could eat as much or as little as you wanted. A good selection of teas at breakfast as well as coffee. New Year's Eve was most... more

There are two Deniziki hotels; one is three stars the other four. They are both right next to each other, we stayed at the three star hotel. I found the hotel through Go North Cyprus, and they were very accurate in their description of it. We stayed in a small room, number 230 to be precise, it is not one of the rooms with a balcony, but that doesn't really matter because the balconies are so small that you can't sit out on them, they are more for hanging your clothes out to dry. Despite the size... more

My husband and I brought our two kids here for a 2 week break during school summer holidays. The Denizkizi hotel is an ideal family hotel. My husband and I came here years ago by ourselves and we had a great time, but this time we wanted to make sure we picked a hotel that is good for families. We could not have picked a better place than the Denizkizi Hotel. We chose to upgrade to a suite and it was perfect for us! The rooms were large, airy and comfortable. All rooms here at the Denizkizi... more

We recently stayed at the Denizkizi Hotel on the advice of a friend who had stayed here last year and who highly recommended it. We were not disappointed. This hotel is set in a lush, tropical oasis in Northern Cyprus. It's on the water, so there's access to the sea. The whole setting is very tranquil and peaceful and we fell in love with the place the moment we saw it.The staff is wonderful and went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed ourselves and had everything we needed. Our room was... more

We stayed in the 3-star Denizkizi, not the 4-star Denizkizi Royal, perpendicular to it.We stayed in room 301 - a small room with no balcony. (At Denizkizi, there is actually no need for a balcony room because balconies are very small and useful only for airing laundry.) Although the room was small, it was well appointed and I really thank GoNorthCyprus for finding me accommodation with just 3 day's notice. The property is attractive. The beachfront is located in a crescent-shaped cove and is private... more

At the Denizkizi, I booked a room at the 3 star hotel, hoping that we might be able to sneak into the bigger 4 star hotel if need be. No sneaking required, as the two hotels operate as one, and guests can move freely between the two. This actually proved to be a real bonus for us 3 star guests, as we could use the enormous pool with its fancy waterfall, the grounds, the beach, the beachfront restaurant, the lot, and not feel like we shouldn't have been there. The private beach really was a joy,... more

My fiancé and I stayed at the Denizkizi Hotel last week and were so impressed!! We were desperate to get away but couldn't afford to be too extravegant. We went for a 3 star with honest expectations, but what we actually got was far more, we were so impressed! The Denizkizi was clean, well equipped and staff were friendly. We were expecially impressed by the array of restaurants we could visit, offering everything from the very traditional to cuisine for the more simple tastes. Although we did not... more

We loved our holiday here! A perfect day was lying on the beach which curved right around the little bay, just soaking up the sun! The hotel served a great buffet breakfast, we had lunch at the beachside restaurant or at the pool bar and in the evening we had the local Cyprus menu, which was really nice food. Our two 'terrible teenagers' loved the large pool, and swimming in the sea, and the staff made them really welcome. Our rooms were just fine, with good ensuite bathrooms, and thank goodness... more
