We went to Merit Crystal Cove after reading the reviews online and wow, we expected a few niggles here and there but honestly, it was fantastic. Beautiful setting, spotless hotel and attentive, efficient staff. We booked through gonorthcyprus and were very impressed with the price and the service from Mandy. We were looking for an all inclusive break but unsure what it would be like, as others we've been on have sprung some extra costs on us and quality not always great. Pleasantly surprised at... more

Sometimes with all inclusive deals, we've felt as though we have to compromise on other areas of our holiday, but this wasn't the case with Merit Crystal Cove Hotel. It ticked all the boxes when it came to location, customer service, quality of food, entertainment and decor, just like our booking agent GoNorthCyprus said it would. For a start, we loved the fact it has its own sheltered cove with hammocks, a favourite of ours! It also has a great swimming pool which we enjoyed using when we didn't... more

The Merit Crystal Cove is one if our long time favourites in Northern Cyprus. When looking on gonorthcyprus.com for our latest break we spotted it and was instantly taken by the description '..stretching toward the clear waters of the Eastern Mediterranean, Merit Crystal Cove Hotel & Casino is 10 kilometers from Girne's city center and 45 kilometers from Ercan Airport, at the confluence of green and blue right on the sea.' Brilliant decision if I say so myself. After the fast and efficient check... more

My partner and I were looking for a true five-star hotel in North Cyprus and the Merit Crystal Cove came highly recommended by Gary at GoNorthCyprus.com. We asked him to find us somewhere special to celebrate our anniversary and he excelled with this gem we even received a free upgrade because of the special occasion and enjoyed fantastic sea views from our balcony. There's a luxurious spa on site, a great selection of restaurants and a casino too with low limits. A bonus of booking a stay here... more

By a country mile the best hotel in Cyprus. Locals swear by it and now i can see why.You get the luxury of using 3 hotels in 1 with a buggy that comes along every2 minutes 24 hours a day to ensure you dont ever have to walk more then 10 meters. The food is the best in terms of choice and quality. The staff also do not treat you like dirt on their feet because you havent gambled 10 grand at the casino the night before like in other hotels most notably rocks in girne where i wasnt even allowed to... more

When we arrived we found that although I'd booked and paid a supplement for a room with sea view, we were given a room with hardly any sea view and what was even more disappointing no balcony. We had to wait two days until the duty manager was able to find us another room, which was rather frustrating. But this was our only complaint and we would certainly return to this lovely hotel. Food fantastic, all wines and spirits were extremely good quality, entertainment good and the catering and... more

These guys were on the ball 24/7. Nothing was a problem when the need arose. We had the all inclusive package which was well worth the money. This gives access to all the facilities in the hotel including the nearby Royal where I recommend you checkout the spa - We defy you to find a better facility! Quality and choice of food was superb and again our package allowed access to the Royal's restaurants too.Whilst I would compliment the general staff courtesy and attention to detail, our only gripe... more

Merit Crystal Cove is still a very good hotel in which to spend Christmas. We enjoy being able to go into town on Christmas Day and enjoy the shops etc.Enjoy going to Casino in the evening.Entertainment at the Christmas Ball on Christmas night was excellent. The amount of effort that went into preparing the hall for the Ball was well rewarded as the hall looked fantastic.Once again we had a fab time.... more

Excellent hotel, though showing signs of wear in bedrooms. Nevertheless we were able to move rooms without any problems and the hotel staff were all more than helpful. Guest relations went the extra mile when they learned of our wedding anniversary.October was a good choice the weather was all we expected. This is a beautiful hotel, the rooms are large & comfortable, everywhere is kept really lovely & clean, plenty of spaces to sunbathe, on the beach with music, & water sports, or a quite decking area, the food had excellent choice, but the downside, I found most of the staff unfriendly, & not very helpful, also not many spoke very good english! & the singers they had couldn't really sing! & the night club, well it was fine when the singers finished as they put music on that you could dance to! ... more

Our teenage son has just left for university so as a final treat, we took him to North Cyprus. We booked at the Merit Crystal Cove because we liked the idea of the hotel having its own beach- we weren't planning on doing an awful lot of site-seeing! It would be very difficult to fault this hotel. The choice of food was exceptional and the quality good. All aspects of room service were also good. Car parking is not really adequate but valet parking is available.Due to the time of year not all facilities were available but that did not detract too much from the overall experience.I would be pleased to recommend this hotel at the rate we paid to anyone.... more

Having received an unexpected promotion at work just before Christmas, I decided to treat my girlfriend and her two young kids to a trip away for a week. February was the earliest opportunity I had and as it was a last minute thing I decided to go through a booking firm called Go North Cyprus Holidays. We spent 2 weeks at the Merit and had a fantastic stay it is a very good hotel. The management is unobtrusive but very effective it's a well oiled machine. The staff are numerous and all very polite and friendly. Others have commented on how clean it is and I endorse that and that is the hotel, the beach, the grounds and your room. Our 4th visit to North Cyprus and our second stay at the Merit Crystal Cove. Superb location and spotlessly clean and tidy. Even the chair and cushion coverings from the lilttle alcoves scattered around the pool and gardens were changed every day. Having cruised a fair bit over the years we have been used to good quality food. The food at the Merit even outshone the cruise food. The choices were unbelievable. We stayed in the merit Crystal Cove Hotel in 2006 and enjoyed our stay generally. We thought we would gothere again this year. Apparently the prices have gone up by 30 per night since last year. Are they kidding.Although we enjoyed our holiday when we stayed there we did not consider it a 5 star hotel. We found the staff to be quite unfriendy and tip seeking all the time. Earlier this year we flew to Northern Cyprus to visit the Merit Crystal Cove Hotel. The Hotel is advertised as 5 star, and we got a relatively good deal on flights and accommodation.
