We had a lovely relaxing week at Bella View and are so glad we booked our break with gonorthcyprus, they sorted everything for us, even the transfers, so we could have a worry-free getaway. We were bowled over by the beauty of the location on arrival, it's sort of between the sea and the mountains and the views are simply amazing. The staff made us feel really welcome, they were so very hospitable. We were shown to our room which was lovely and had a really spacious bathroom, which felt luxurious.... more

This was our first trip to north Cyprus, we found the gonorthcyprus.com website through Google and gave them a ring with our requirements (rustic, clean, exceptional service) and Gary recommended Bella View. We read the reviews are were very impressed and happy to book immediately. We found the hotel to be very comfortable and clean and the staff welcomed us warmly. Our room was tastefully decorated and nice and airy with a wonderful sea view and the outdoor pool area is lovely. The breakfast service... more

wanting to be close to Bellapais for our friends wedding we chose this Hotel , Gary at Go North Cyprus personally recommended it, It feels more like staying at a friends house , The manager Emrah was more than helpful , Our room was decorated with Antiques and it was nice to find decent Cotton bedding , very swish ! , location wise couldn't have been better for us , a 2 minute drive into Bellapais but away from the daily coach parties , with distant sea views and an evening breeze, the restaurant... more

A comfortable hotel, not luxury. It is clean and friendly. The breakfasts are poor, unless you asked for hot food, it was not on the buffet. We stayed in for 1 evening meal which was o.k. just. My husband asked a simple meal, poached eggs on toast. This could not supplied, but cheese on toast was. strange. A car is necessary to get about. We enjoyed our holiday, the arrangements by Go North Cyprus were excellent. I would give the hotel 4 out of 5. Not sure that I would go again to the same... more

Excellent well run and friendly happy staff .Good views down to Kyrenia town and the sea, nice swimmingpool, plenty of sun loungers and everywhere spotlessly clean, would reconmend it to anyone who wants a quiet relaxing break.Suggest you hire a car though as its quite a very long walk into town and its up hill coming back! Although the Hotel runs a free shuttle service twice a day you are tied to there times.... more

Although the Bella View is small, the service is first class and the hotel itself is beautiful. We visited in April after booking through GoNorthCyprus and found our break to be everything we wanted and more. The hotel is adults-only so it's very peaceful and there are fabulous mountain views from the swimming pool. Our room was spacious and tastefully decorated, in fact the whole hotel is beautifully finished and the décor is really charming. The food was excellent and we were presented with a... more

People ask why we keep coming back to the Bella View in Kyrenia, but when you find your perfect holiday why go anywhere else! This was the first time we booked through the Go North Cyprus website and they were superb, I can't recommend them enough. Not only did we save money but have a great customer service staff at the end of the phone from Garry. So to this wonderful hotel. Our holiday didn't get off to the best of starts with a 5 hour delay at Manchester airport :( We lost our much anticipated... more

Beautiful hotel, very clean ,very friendly and obliging staff who made the stay very enjoyable. Would recommend this hotel to anybody who wants a peaceful and relaxing holiday. The food was excellent and plenty of choice. if you asked for anything they would go out of their way for you. The Bella view hotel provided us with a wonderful bolt hole while exploring northern Cyprus. The rooms were immaculate and comfortable with their sparklingly clean bathrooms and bedroom. The service was first class and the waiters and waitress were exceptional for a small boutique hotel , far better than we have had in huge 5 * ones. The food was well cooked and varied, although it would have been nice to have had more local specialities on the menu. The pool was inviting and very clean. We would... more

We arrived late but were invited to the party in the downstairs function rooms where a Cypriot musical night was underway. This was fine, we had food and drinks and sucked in the atmosphere though it was a little noisy. We had not specified we needed twin beds beforehand but the staff were very obliging and did the necessary for us. The room was fine with a mountain view. Food was lovely too, my friend is a vegetarian & happy with the choices though the manager would have offered alternatives too... more

We have recently stayed at the lovely Bella View Hotel of which the turkish traditional style, designed by the owner's wife, is much more charming than depicted online. The reception areas open out onto a very good pool with it's attractive and plentiful sunbathing areas to enjoy; including the tucked away 'crazy golf' which was fun after a swim. In our view the hotel has one of the best and most enviable positions in the Kyrenia area, nestling just under Bellapais abbey and village with it's surrounding... more

My husband and I had a 9 night stay and really wished we had booked longer. It was such a peaceful and relaxing hotel and a perfect location forr exploring north Cyprus, The staff couldn't do enough for you and it was one of the most friendliest places we have stayed in a long time. It felt more like staying in a friend/family home. The only negative cpmment we have is that the breakfasts could be a little more adventurous but saying that we would definitely like to return.... more

As it said on the tin, a boutique hotel in every sense of the word. Excellent very friendly service from all the staff and a perfect location from which to sample the delights of North Cyprus. It was in general a fantastic choice made for us by Go North Cyprus. If we were to be critical and this may just be a personal thing. The breakfasts and meals were not very inspiring. Well cooked and prepared but offering only the type of meals we could buy at home or anywhere in Northern Europe. As we did,... more

Having read through the previous reviews what can be added to what has been said before? The football stadium's stand roof does blot out the view of the sea but then again its so far away anyway that its hardly a big deal. Our room was on the other side and the view was simply of a wall and a few plants but unless you're bed bound who worries what the view from the room is anyway.Obviously you need a hire car to get around, and the outskirts of Kyrenia are a little confusing to negotiate yourself... more

Not long returned from the Bella View Hotel. Extremely pleased with the hotel itself, the cleanliness and comfort, plus the wonderful terrace. The breakfast left a lot to be desired, in fact we gave breakfast a miss on a couple of days finding that in a 2 week period it because too repetitive. You have to be careful about the room that you are allocated. We were lucky enough to have a first floor room overlooking the pool, but others were less fortunate.... more

I've stayed in North Cyrpus with a few friends before but wanted to take my husband for a quiet getaway so chose something (with the help of Gary from Go North Cyprus.com) that wasn't situated within one of the towns. We went for the Bella View hotel which is marketed as a boutique hotel and although it isn't boutique in a luxurious sense, its small, peaceful and very well run. The best thing about the hotel is its location. It is situated within the stunning five finger mountains and is only 15... more

My wife and I had a wonderful stay and are already contemplating going back in the summer (if they have any rooms available.) We spoke to Mandy when we wanted to book and told her that we were keen to visit North Cyprus and were looking for somewhere quiet and relaxing. She totally understood what we wanted and the Bella View offered everything we were looking for.Being a fairly small hotel, we found a greater level of customer service than we've had from large chain hotels. It was a great week in Northern Cyprus and a very friendly hotel. Originally wanted to go to the Abbey Gardens again but it was closed and this was an excellent substitute. The only snag was that the Terrace and the Grandstand in front of the hotel obstructed the view, at least from the ground floor rooms, but this was a very small inconvenience. The food was excellent, particularly the 'vegetable and cheese tower' starter. There was a choice at breakfast of traditional English or more local salad... more

We spent a week here in March but if we came again we would come later so we could use the lovely pool which was sitting looking pretty and neglected.I was disappointed to have a room at the back so not a sea view and would have like to have been given the choice at the time of booking. It was also pretty stuffy and when we opened the balcony doors in the morning we were greeted by the smell from the kitchen - not good.On the plus side the staff were very friendly and accommodating and we ate... more

Many would often feel that a fair review should be based on the simple question, “would I come back to this hotel?” In the case of our recent visit to Northern Cyprus where we stayed at a place called Bella View, the hotel scored very highly in our opinion and we certainly would be returning at some point! There's a great poolside area that was not only accommodating but also very clean and a place that families would be very happy to allow their children to play. This contributed to the lovely... more

I'm lying here, poolside at the Bella View flicking though reviews, we've been here a couple of days now and can only find good in this hotel. Whilst another reviewer has suggested the staff "stiff or stuffy" we have found the staff extremely attentive, polite and so,so helpful. prices at the Bar and restraunt are quite reasonable, the hotel is beautifully clean, our room perfect and the pool, bar and breakfast area just ideal,we'd have no hesitation at all in recommending this venue. In my opinion, Hotel Bella View in Bellapais village is one of the most exotic boutique hotels of the world. In fact, Bella View hotel is less a hotel than a country house. The terrific view of mountains from the terraces and swimming pool of this hotel makes this hotel the best place to stay at Bellapais. This hotel has a strange policy of not allowing any child below the age of 15. However, this policy makes this property to stay clean and free of noise. This is the perfect hotel for those people,... more

Last year we visited northern Cyprus and came to the town of Kyrenia after recommendations from friends, however unfortunately the hotel we chose was a huge disappointment and was not only dirty, shabby and untidy but also meant that we spend most of our holiday trying to stay out of the hotel! So..Before we decided to come away over the Christmas break this year my partner was adamant that we find a good hotel to avoid such a time again. We firstly did some research online and then found some reviews... more

We only recently returned from a short stay in the Bella View Hotel, which we decided to try on recommendation from my Mother-in-law. We arrived there in the early hours of the morning, and expected to find it practically deserted, but the manager was there to greet us warmly and offer us a drink and a free snack before we retired for the night. Needless to say, after a day of travelling we were relieved not to have to worry about finding somewhere to eat. This brilliant customer service continued... more

My girlfriend and I only chose to stay here two nights as we were on a mini tour of Northern Cyprus and had planned to stay at 4 hotels during our 3 week tour of the region over the Christmas period this year. We booked in so quickly and easily it was a huge relief after our tiring journey that day. The rooms were very high quality, had more than expected space available and were actually quite charming. The staff helped us to our room and made us feel at ease without that awkward feeling of waiting... more

My husband and I decided to take an impromptu trip to North Cyprus as a last minute treat before I returned back to work in September. We were looking for peace and quiet and a stay away from the hustle and bustle of the package holiday. When we found the Bella View, we thought that it would be perfect. The hotel certainly didn't disappoint. We were actually pleased that the hotel was a distance away from the nearest towns as it meant that we were guaranteed peace and quiet. I know that some other... more

We stayed at the Bella View Hotel recently in Northern Cyprus and I really loved it. I found it to be very peaceful and relaxing and it's located in a really beautiful spot. The hotel staff are great. They were very helpful and even arranged a rental car for us during our stay. We loved the breakfasts in the hotel dining room. The Bella View Hotel was recommended to us by some friends who often stay in Northern Cyprus with us, but had gone alone last year because of scheduling clashes. We booked almost straight away on the back of their glowing report, and headed out there a couple of short months later. Our first impression of the Bella View was as good as we'd hoped. It is, although small, an extremely aesthetically pleasing hotel which offers great views of the surrounding areas. Also, in return for a little extra travelling... more

The Bella View Hotel is a very nice, quiet place to stay. The Hotel is very near Bellapais Abbey, and a short drive from the town. The staff were very welcoming and very eager to help us where possible. The food was varied (more often than not there are local dishes and ones of vaguely British origin) and very nicely prepared, although it was a little more expensive to eat at the hotel than it was to eat out at a restaurant. The pool area was peaceful and never got over crowded- this was nice as... more

This location is lovely and quiet and we loved it here. All the staff welcomed us and helped us. There is a choice of a local breakfast or an English one, both large and tasty, and it was great to digest by the pool. The only thing I missed was fresh orange juice. It was peaceful at the pool area and they don't cram the sun beds. It's a short walk up the hill from Bellapais Abbey to reach the hotel and we were impressed. We enjoyed lots of nice touches at the Bella View Hotel, and enjoyed some of its idiosyncrasies as well! The hotel is officially a boutique hotel, which I guess allows it to be both extremely comfortable and quirky at the same time...The hotel is halfway between Kyrenia and Bellapais, which in effect means its a long walk downhill or a steep climb uphill to get anywhere. Reception will happily order you a taxi, but don't rely on local buses - there arn't any! We hired a car for the whole holiday... more

We found the Bella View Hotel to be a rather odd mix of country house chic inside and Mediterranean holiday suntrap outside! The room corridor was dark wood and soft carpets, the foyer was swagged and stuffed with objects and paintings. Our room was somewhat overfurnished, so it was a bit oppressive without the air con on, especially as we did not have a balcony. Outside, the hotel has modern lines with a big terrace around a small pool, which looks a bit Spartan but actually means you don't have... more
