We visited Citrus Tree Gardens for our first ever trip to north Cyprus, having found the hotel on the gonorthcyprus website. We booked through the website and were happy with the price and the reviews of the hotel. We were made to feel very welcome on arrival and the staff continued to deliver an attentive and friendly service for the whole of our stay. We had a decent room with a balcony, it had a water cooler, which was a nice touch, and quiet air con. We were pleased with how tidy the room was... more

My wife and I had a wonderful time at this little gem. We found Citrus Tree Gardens on the gonorthcyprus.com website and Gary in sales got us a great deal when we rang up. The staff are very pleasant and efficient, we were given a well kept, comfortable room that was cleaned every few days. It's a small hotel with a relaxed ambience and superb food, especially the roast on Sundays. Shower pressure isn't fantastic but then it hasn't been at any of the hotels we've stayed at in the region. This was... more

We booked a break at Citrus Tree gardens for a party of four, my husband and I and our two little ones, through GoNorthCyprus. On arrival, we were made to feel right at home by the staff, who are so friendly and helpful. We found the complex to be quite small, quiet and very clean. Our accommodation was comfortable and even though the hotel is by the road it isn't noisy. Every meal we had here was delicious and homemade, the prices were low for both food and drinks and the quality was high. There's... more

What a lovely welcoming place. My husband and I booked a short break through our agent Go North Cyprus and had a great time. The staff are all so kind and friendly, we felt right at home. Our room was nice and comfy, also kept very clean for the duration of our trip, as was the rest of the hotel. The food is superb, better than many of the local restaurants. Nice clean and pleasant pool area and general air of relaxation for those of us who like a peaceful time on holiday. I expect it livens up... more

We found Citrus Tree Gardens on the GoNorthCyprus website and did a bit of digging to make sure we had found somewhere suitable. After reading the reviews on the website and elsewhere we were persuaded of the hotel's quality and booked through Gary in sales. On arrival the staff were friendly and welcoming, we checked in to our poolside villa with ease and were assisted with our luggage. The villa was clean and tidy and more than sufficient for our needs, it was nice to be by the pool where we could... more

We recently stayed at the Citrus Tree Gardens for the third time and decided it's high time we left a review! The hotel is fairly basic but very clean and reasonably priced. Best of all, the staff are just so lovely, they are the reason people like us come back year after year. The owner Mustafa is such a warm and welcoming man, as are the rest of the staff - they take a pride in maintaining a high standard of service and will do anything to ensure their guests are happy. There have been some recent... more

We booked a break at Citrus Tree Gardens through Gary at gonorthcyprus, he got us a great deal and we were really looking forward to our time away. When we arrived the staff were very friendly and nice, they made us feel welcome and gave us a good spacious room, which was pleasantly furnished and finished to a high standard. We were especially impressed with the en suite, which had a very large shower! Outdoor, the hotel is just as pleasing with its great pool and garden area. Lovely to have meals... more

This was our third trip to Citrus Tree Gardens so I thought it about time we left a review! We've just returned from a lovely week away, booked through gonorthcyprus who we always use when we visit Cyprus. Citrus tree is a quiet little paradise in our opinion, which is why we always go, and we know other couples who say the same. The villas are lovely and light, cosy and clean and the grounds are green and appealing. It's so peaceful here and the pool area is always clean. There are a few fantastic... more

We booked a break at Citrus Tree Gardens with GoNorthCyprus recently to explore the area, having never been to north Cyprus before. We had a pleasant villa, small but well appointed and very clean. Outside is a nice big pool and it's very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast in the morning and there's a nice bar at the hotel, in the basement, just right for a nightcap. It's a good base to explore as well, you can easily get the bus into Kyrenia, which has a picturesque harbour and... more

After a while browsing the hotels at GoNorthCyprus.com we chose the Citrus Tree Gardens, which offered fantastic value for a short break in Cyprus out of season. We loved that everything was close by, so there was no need to hire a car to explore. There are beaches about 15 minutes away on foot and you can also walk into the village of Alsancak, which we did. There were lots of rustic tavernas and plenty of shops to poke around in. Our villa was cosy and comfortable and the climate was surprisingly... more

I stayed at the Citrus Tree Gardens recently with my wife, we just wanted to get away from it all, so this place was ideal just outside the main city in a pleasant village setting. We stayed in a small but comfortable villa, which was very clean and tidy. The setting is peaceful and there's a nice pool, the beaches are within walking distance too, so we really just chilled out for a lot of the time in and around the hotel. We did venture a bit further afield for a couple of trips out, there's a... more

We booked a relaxed family break at Citrus Tree Gardens through Gary at GoNorthCyprus.com and I can honestly say that the holiday surpassed our expectations. It was the first time for us staying in a villa and we found the accommodation bright, spacious and very clean. The location was quiet and we were made to feel very welcome by the hotel staff. The villa we stayed in shared a pool, which the kids loved, and the hotel is within walking distance of a number of beaches, so we spent a lot of time... more

We stayed at the Citrus Tree Gardens hotel in Kyrenia over christmas after reading a lot of great reviews online. The booking was handled by GoNorthCyprus.com although we specifically requested this location so they can't be held responsible for what was to follow in all fairness. The booking process was handled very smoothly and the advisor we spoke to did all they could to help. North Cyprus is a lovely place that we'd highly recommend. On arrival we were happy to see pleasant hotel buildings that... more

My husband and I booked a really reasonable stay at the Citrus Tree Gardens through gonorthcyprus.com. We requested that we stay in the area of Alsancak because we have friends who run a bar in the there. Gary, an agent at gonorthcyprus, found the Citrus Tree for us as it was perfectly located for our needs. However, for other guests wanting a hotel in the middle of Kyrenia, it may not be a good choice as you definitely need a car or bus to get into Kyrenia Town and to other places of interest.... more

Every time I book a family holiday, I go for the largest hotel I can find in the hope that they have so much money put into the hotel that it provides the best for its guests. I went away with my friend at the end of the summer and she booked for us. I was horrified when she said she'd booked a family-run villa but obviously couldn't complain. She said it was recommended to her by www.gonorthcyprus and that they'd told her it was one of the best. All I can say is, how right my friend and Go North... more

I booked a stay at the Citrus Tree Gardens for myself and my family to get away from the horrible English weather we've been having. We spoke to Sue and she found the holiday for us which in all honesty was the cheapest we could find as we were on quite a budget. When we arrived at the Citrus Tree villas, we were attended to very quickly by a very polite receptionist. She showed us straight to our villa and told us where to find all of the amenities. Our villa was spacious and well equipped but... more

Just over a week ago i returned from a 2 week break at Citrus Gardens and would certainly stay there again. As it states its a 3* hotel and family run with very helpful staff! The 2 bedroom bungalow was somewhat dated, but very clean and served to be just enough space for our 2 week trip.A cleaner was there every day and all staff, especially the young men were very helpful and polite. If anyone wants a good base while touring the island or just wishing for a quiet break by the pool, then im sure you... more

my wife and i stayed at the Citrus Tree Gardens from 29/04/12 to 06/05/12 and had a good time. Management and staff could not do enough for you. We found the rooms clean and tidy with bedding and towels changed every three days. The food was very good, we stayed half board. There was a room down stairs for those that wanted to watch any sports games, rugby, football, snooker ect and a fair size bar with bar stools or if you wanted to relax there are plenty of arm chairs. The swimming pool is a good... more

We have just come back from a very brief 4-day stay in Northern Cyprus. We chanced upon the Citrus Tree Gardens and were wonderfully surprised. The staff were very friendly. The mini villas were kept beautifully clean. The first night we ate in the restaurant and had a beautifully cooked steak. Breakfast is buffet continental and there was everything there that anyone could want to see them through the day, freshly cooked and constantly topped up. It was a lovely, peaceful break and we can't... more

My husband and I visited north cyprus and stayed at Citrus Tree Gardens recently and I was very disappointed. We'd booked this vacation through a travel agency, who recommended it, making it doubly disappointing, as naturally I expected them to recommend a nicer place. When we saw the inside of our mini-villa, I was appalled at the shabbiness of it. The rugs and furniture were dingy and dirty and everything badly needed a good steam cleaning. Better yet, some things needed to be thrown out and... more

My recent stay at Citrus Tree Gardens wasn't the first time I'd stayed here. My husband and I visited this wonderful hotel a year or so ago. During our previous visit to North Cyprius, I was enthralled and believed this to be a lovely place. I still think it's lovely; however this time I noticed the place could use a good cleaning. I noticed a general air of neglect, with dust on most surfaces and dog hairs on the carpet and stairs. Even our bungalow was a bit dusty and the bathroom taps weren't... more

This was our second stay at Citrus Tree Gardens. The first time we visited Northern Cyprus we stayed here, we thought the hotel was lovely and everything was quite nice. This time, however, it seemed that the place had gone downhill. I noticed quite a bit of what appeared to be dog hair on the floors and stairs and everything was very dusty. Our bungalow was no exception. Immediately upon arrival, I found a dust cloth and cleaned the room myself. The shower and water taps were old and not... more

Have just returned from a fantastic short break at the Citrus Tree Gardens hotel in Kyrenai. The staff were all so so helpful and pleasant that is was really enjoyable from the moment we arrived the hotel. Its so refreshing to find cheerful hotel staff this time of year as its off season and sometimes things tend to drop off.We stayed in what was referred to as a mini villa. It was clean comfortable and had plenty of room with a good sized lounge area, kitchen that included a fridge, and a bathroom... more

We have been to Citrus Tree Gardens a few times now and we've just got back from our latest trip. The reason we keep coming back here is because it's a lovely family owned hotel and the staff could not be friendlier. They help out all the guests, not just us. If there is any kind of problem, it's quickly sorted out by Mustafa or a staff member. Having been to many hotels in many countries, we know this is one of the best ones. That's why it gets our custom time and time again. Our rooms are cleaned... more

As im now retired my friend and I decided we'd take a relaxing trip to Kyrenia for a few days before the UK holiday season really picks up and it all gets a bit busy for our liking. We had both visited before and really loved our stays so I got online and started to google reviews of hotels that we may like. The Citrus Tree Gardens appeared several time with some pretty good reviews so I thought this would be as good a place to stay as any other. We had tried to book a bungalow all on one level... more

We have just gotten home after 12 days at the Citrus Tree Gardens and have nothing but praise for the place. It was our first visit to N Cyprus and the delightful CTG made it a lovely experience. Nothing was too much effort when it came to making our stay as comfortable as possible, made very evident when we arrived shortly before midnight, obviously tired, and straight after check-in were offered something to eat and drink even though the food service stopped at 21:30. Accommodation consists of... more
