I decided to visit the Hotel Bellapais Gardens last month for a business trip which left me with a few days free time. I took my wife with me as we thought wed make the most of it and enjoy a short break on company time! :-) I'd never visit North Cyprus before but my wife has been about 10 times since her youth as her family loved it so much. She hadnt heard of this hotel though so we thought itd be nice to try something new and book up at the Hotel Bellapais Gardens. I wrapped up my business here... more
We stayed at Hotel Bellapais Gardens at the end of June and first few days of July 2009. We had an unexpected late arrival and someone was there waiting for us with a snack and two beers. What a great welcome!We loved our room which was two story with a living area and bathroom downstairs and a big bedroom with a balcony upstairs. Very clean and very comfortable. Bathroom was small but adequate.Breakfast everyday was up at the main restaurant area and a great selection made even more enjoyable... more
The hotel is perched in the Five Finger Mountains, so it has amazing views down to the coast beyond. Its about a 5 minutes taxi ride to the outskirts of Kyrenia, so I didn't feel cut off either.Inside, it feels a weird combination of holiday villa and ski resort, with a stone-walled lounge with log fire, yet rattan furniture and windows without heavy drapes. Although the restaurant sliding doors/windows stayed firmly shut against what could be a chilly wind, the sunshine poured in and the views... more
