We found Long Beach Resort Hotel on gonorthcyprus.com and booked soon after, Gary got us a great deal that included transfers so we were happy! Room was nicely turned out, very clean and comfortable. The staff made us feel right at home and were always helpful with questions or requests. There's a nice water park and pebble beach on site ideal for kids. We've just returned from a break at Long Beach Resort Hotel, which we booked through gonorthcyprus.com. Both my wife and I enjoyed our stay, which was great for a mid-level budget break. We had a basic but smart apartment, which was kept very clean and well maintained. Very nice and quiet break at Long Beach Resort Hotel, which Gary from gonorthcyprus found for us. We were looking for something at a great price in a peaceful location and this fit the bill perfectly. It's not the most modern of hotels, but that's part of its charm - you pay for the standard of service, not unnecessary extras. If you want to be by the water, you can't get much nearer than Long Beach! We booked a break at Long Beach with gonorthcyprus and got a good deal inclusive of transfers. We had a lovely clean villa, although the furniture could be upgraded - we're not complaining though, for the price, and it was all completely adequate. We booked a week through gonorthcyprus.com staying in a lovely villa at Long Beach and were made to feel really welcome and at home by the staff. Our villa was clean and cosy with lovely views of the beach nearby and useful amenities like a fridge. Staff were polite and the buffet food was plentiful, although not as varied as it could have been. Very nice bar serving excellent cocktails too. We've just got home from a week at Long Beach and wanted to let other travellers know that you won't be disappointed here. We booked our trip through gonorthcyprus, who we've used before, we're always pleased with their prices and they include transfers. We love beach holidays and fancied a change from Spain when we stumbled upon the GoNorthCyprus website. The prices were right for us for an out of season break and we decided to go for the Long Beach Hotel because of its beachfront setting. It's only three-star accommodation so the villa we stayed in was fairly standard but very clean, and the setting really was to die for. Looking for a short break I chose the Long Beach and booked thru GoNorthCyprus.com .from the moment of arrival the staff couldn't do enough to help , I booked a beachfront bungalow which was clean and comfortable with a fantastic view . There's so much competition for custom in Famagusta's hospitality trade that we've always said how difficult it must be for the smaller businesses to compete. It is a relatively small area of land to house so many grand hotels, but on this visit we think we might have gotten a real insight into what the little guys are doing to stay afloat, and Long Beach Resort is a shining example. This was our second year at The Long Beach Hotel which I think says it all. We stayed for two weeks in a beach front bungalow. Beautiful well kept gardens, lovely pool which was very clean and quiet. Staff are very helpful and friendly. We had a problem with the air con when we arrived but this was sorted out the very next morning. But the bungalows are a great asset to this hotel. Long Beach is not a posh, top notch hotel by any means but what it does offer is direct beach access, privacy and the utmost relaxation. It was cleaned everyday and for us that was all that mattered.We had beach front rooms which meant constant sound of the sea, wind and sun. And a few steps into clear med waters. I've just returned from the most amazing holiday to Famagusta, staying at the Long Beach Resort Hotel. Our semi detatched villa on the beach front was very good. It needed some TLC was very clean and given regular servicing. The hot water system confused us initially when we ran steam from the hot tap. House services soon put us right.The immersion heater with solar heating caused the water to boil, Thermostat did not seem to work. A warning noticw would have avoided a possible scolding. Eine ältere Anlage mit kleines Bungalows, die erste Reihe direkt am schönen Strand. Pool gibts es auch. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt, die Häuschen auch, aber eingerichtet wie früher in der DDR, bei einigen fallen die neu renoviertes Bäder angenehm auf. We stayed at this resort for 2 weeks in October. It is delightful, but not for those wanting nightlife or being near the action. The welcome was great and our room very clean. It is a very low key resort and the staff always obliging, nothing too much trouble. It has a fantastic setting, right by the beach. The food was very good, authentic Turkish fare, always very fresh and the salads were to die for. A good choice for everyone. There is a small supermarket approx 10 mins walk along the beach.... more
We stayed at Long Beach 6th- 20th August. We stayed in a beach front bungalow and this is a must, well worth paying not much extra for this. Arrived at 11pm and was immediately sat down with a meal put in front if us within 5 minutes. Bungalows were clean and comfortable with maid service and towels changed everyday. My family had the most relaxing holiday in the wonderful retreat that is the Long Beach Resort Hotel. I'd read reviews that said it was a peaceful place to visit, but it exceeded my expectations ten fold.For a start, the location of the hotel is incredible, especially if you stay in one of the beach villas. They are so close to the beach that at night you can look out of your window and think that you are the only one there, on your own desert island. We loved the location of this resort. Ok, it is a bit far away from the famagusta city centre but it was like having the long sandy beach to ourselves. Not many people come by which made our holiday cozy and relaxing. There is a pool but who needs a pool when you have the best sea just next to you. The staff was friendly.
