Nice quiet hotel found via the gonorthcyprus website. Gary in sales got us a good deal at Ambelia Village and when we arrived we were welcomed by the receptionist and felt at home. We had a light, pleasant room that was spacious and faced the sea. Fantastic views. There's a fridge and coffee making facilities if you want to pick up milk, coffee etc. We stayed on a B and B basis and enjoyed the breakfast each morning, can't say more about the other meals because we ate out the rest of the time. My boyfriend and I booked a week at Ambelia Village through gonorthcyprus and have just returned after a lovely stay. It's quite a small place and very peaceful, not luxurious but cosy and homely feeling. The staff were all so nice, literally every one of them, they made us feel welcome and well attended to. We had a light, airy room that was very clean with wonderful views over Kyrenia from the balcony. My husband booked us a surprise getaway to Ambelia Village in Cyprus, I had no idea about it until we were on our way to the airport! If you want to experience authentic Cyprus this is the place to do it. We stayed at Ambelia Village for a week with GoNorthCyprus, who even arranged our transfers, so were able to relax from the word go. The hotel is small and relaxed with a very peaceful ambience, it's like a home from home. Not the most luxurious but very welcoming and laid back. We'd never been to this part of Cyprus before and wanted some recommendations, so we got in touch with GoNorthCyprus after finding them through a Google search. We spoke to Gary in sales and he told us all about Ambelia Village. As a 3-star hotel with great reviews, it seemed just right for our needs - and for our budget - so we booked in. This was our second stay at Ambelia Village - we're big fans, like many of the other guests who return year in, year out. We booked with gonorthcyprus both times because they are so efficient and always seem to have the best rates. The hotel staff made us feel very welcome and our villa was comfortable and clean. When I go on holiday it's to relax, which means I need somewhere quiet that's a bit out of the action. Ambelia Village was ideal for me, it seemed fairly small and out of the way with very good reviews, so I booked a break with gonorthcyprus. When I arrived I found the staff to be very friendly, my room was fairly basic but clean and comfortable. For a taste of traditional Cyprus that won't break the bank, Ambelia Village is perfect. We booked a budget holiday here to escape all the rain back in the UK and it was such a relief to step off the plane to sunny skies.
