we visited this hotel again as a couple for the second time. we actually stayed at the Denizkizi not the Royal. we had a deluxe corner room, sea facing 3rd floor, with beautiful views of the sea, beach and the mountains.

Our room was very spacious and modern. we had a jacuzzi bath and the bed is comfortable. the pillows could be softer but that's subjective. the space to open the toilet and shower doors could have been bigger, it was a little cramped around there considering the size of the room.

The staff are very friendly and welcoming.

The breakfast could have been a little more varied, but the evening meals were always good local cuisine and the wine was good value. it was always lovely to sit outside to dine by candle light.

We got taxis into Kyrenia, but we then found out there is a white minibus that goes along the main road to and from town for a 4.5 lira per person, well worth it and you just flag it down then pay when you get off. the hotel did not mention this, so more information could be provided by them.

the beach is immaculate, the sea is crystal clear and warm, lots of sand coloured fish. you always got 2 beds and an umbrella. there is a beach bar which does good kebabs, salads, and sandwiches.

the owner also has a restaurant in town Niazis. we highly recommend the full kebab. but don't have lunch as it's huge!
