A very impressive hotel for such a reasonable price.

I've just returned from my first ever trip to North Cyprus and thought the place was absolutely charming, not to mention beautiful! Gary at Go North Cyprus sorted everything out for us and when we told him we were on a budget, he suggested the Sammy's hotel. I had expectations of a very basic room to stay in and not much more but the Sammy's hotel definitely exceeded my expectations!

The rooms were basic (which to be honest is how I find most of the rooms I've stayed in when I've been abroad) but they were really very clean. They had everything my family and I needed so I couldn't complain. And unlike other more expensive hotels I've stayed in, the beds stayed in one piece.

I stayed at the Sammy's with my two teenage children. They did complain, on occasion, that they thought that the hotel was a bit 'boring' but we spent so much time site-seeing and lying on the beach that we didn't really need any entertainment. Plus the pool was clean and well-maintained.

The food at the Sammy's was simple. Breakfast had quite a limited choice and the evening meals were quite limited but it all tasted fresh and you just cannot beat how friendly the staff were. In my opinion, customer service is one of the most important things on holiday! Although we did have an evening meal in the hotel, we found such a wonderful array of local restaurants that we were happy to go out and try them.

If I was going to North Cyprus again, I would book at the Sammy's without a doubt. It might not have the pizazz of a larger hotel but it had excellent staff and it was brilliant value for money!
