We will be back!

I took my family to the Dedeman Olive Tree in Kyrenia for a week in June 2009. It was a return visit for me, as I had already been there alone for a few nights in May 2002. I immediately became besotted with the place- even moreso now that travel arrangements are easier to make on the Turkish side of Cyprus. Not good in winter

This resort hotel must be very attractive in the summer, with its swim-up pool bar and sunny terraces, but in winter we found it to be decidedly unattractive despite the good views. Our first bungalow looked lovely from the outside, but inside it was damp, dirty and the air con/heating unit did not work. We asked to be moved and our second bungalow was better, but not by much.
