“A luxury getaway”
We were looking for an upmarket hotel for a luxurious break away and the Savoy Ottoman Palace seemed ideal. When we arrived we were impressed by the grandeur of the entrance, which is manned by a doorman - all very glitzy and clean too. We had a very comfortable room, well furnished and nicely decorated. Nice Jacuzzi bath gave it a luxurious touch. Be aware though that a lot of the hotel guests smoke - if you aren't a smoker the smell may bother you. We really enjoyed the food at the hotel, although the waiters need a bit of training to not linger, ready to remove your plate - we like to take our time over our meals. We really enjoyed the casino - most of the guests go for a flutter and this was a highlight for us. Also a good spot for exploring, not too far from the marina and attractions. Overall a good value break.
Liked — Good location, well kept, busy casino, feels luxurious
Disliked — The waiters can be a bit over eager
