Having had an expensive year with the recent floods we decided a summer holiday was too expensive this year and decided to try the winter sun break we found advertised in the window of the travel agent. None of us had been to Cyprus before and the children were really looking forward to a few days in the warm sun while their friends back home were wrapping up warm. The flights took a little longer than expected due to an 'unforeseen delay' at the airport, but as soon as we arrived we were shown straight to our rooms without any more delay. The lady who checked us in was really friendly and spoke excellent English which helped a lot.

We were worried that the room would be a little cramped with both of us plus our twin boys but as they were too young to go alone, we had to make do with the room on offer. Thankfully the room we were allocated was quite spacious and allowed the boys a bit of room to play with their toys without causing a trip hazard!

Both our boys are good swimmers and wanted to jump right in the very second we arrived. The pool was never really that busy and I thought it was a little bit on the cold side because of the time of year, but the children didn't seem to care less and were in at the first chance they got. It was a clean pool with almost no rubbish or litter around the poolside which was a nice change from some of the Spanish hotels we've stayed in over the years.

The food was good and looked well prepared but we did think the menu was a little on the limited side. The waiter did offer to find alternatives if the children did not like what was on that particular night but the boys were fine with chips, burgers and ketchup! We would certainly think about going back, but next time at a warmer time of the year I think.

Liked — Great staff and plenty or space in the room
Disliked — Not a wide choice of food on menu.
