The hotel has a lot of potential. The new rooms around the Y-shaped pool are really nice. Book these rooms! Also the main building is quit good. But the gallery rooms are old and very noisy.

In all the rooms work needs to be done. Showerhead broken, no shaving electricity, leaking airco, etc. Even the King-suite has these things to fix. Complian, and it will be fixed!

But it has 3 pools, 1 with slides so excellent for the kids. One wave-pool (not working at our stay, also needs work) and the big Y-shaped pool with a nice bar in it.

Beach is nice. A floater is in the water to swim to and lay on. Also watersports, jetski, waterski are available. Also good for the kids.

The beach could be good, if the guy at the beach-bar would clean it up a bit. Put the sunbeads strait, sometimes clean the matrasses, put a matrass on every bed, etc. That gives it a whole other look and feel.

Then the surroundings, in one word: terrible. A bit further on they rebuild some buildings and it is looking better. But just next to the hotel is a half finished building. A lot of junk on the streets. What a shame. There are some nice restaurants within walking distance. To go to the old harbour it is to far to walk. Taxi is about 8 lira. Mostly we took the Oscar train into town and back with a taxi. Oscar train only goes at 10:00 / 13:00 / 17:00. I don't understand why it does not go in de evening as well.

The old city is very nice! Good restaurants. See the old castle, it is beautifull!

Shopping all fake, sometimes good bargains, but often expensive. And they won't go down with the price here.

Excellent weather, and that is why we came here!

Booking agent had very good service, had some trouble with the room, but that was solved. Even called during the week to see if everything was ok. Nice!
