We stayed at the Malpas 1/2 board special deal for 10 days mid December while furnishing our apartment. We must first say how great the staff are, efficient and very helpful but not in your face. The food was good considering it was buffet and if you like bacon with your eggs at breakfast just ask the chef, who cooks the fried eggs and does a great omelettes.

Rooms large but a bit tired. Bar prices and wine at dinner way too expensive compared to other restaurants and bars we visited. The health spa was not inviting which was a big let down as we had planned to spend a couple of hours every evening relaxing, reading books and magazines after a hard days shopping. The pool was cold the jacuzzi was cool and the air was chilly, we booked specialist massages the massuse did not show up and we were not told until we went to the spa. Could do much better in this area. It was interesting to watch all of the gamblers in the casino even without actually gambling ourselves.
