“Nice hotel for kids half term”

Took the kids to North Cyprus for a half term break last October, and chose the Malpas mainly for its heated indoor pool. Was really pleased to discover just how good the hotel was. Staff were very welcoming to my two 'little horrors'. Kids loved the pools which were linked by a bridge, and ate platefuls at the enormous buffet breakfasts.

Hired a car for the week and glad I did - meant we could get out and explore beyond the hotel grounds. Kids enjoyed Buffavento castle, Kyrenia harbour (due to a large intake of ice cream) and meze meals in nearby Catalkoy.

Evenings were a bit quiet, but the jazz bar was good for a late night glass or two.

Would definitely go back - the kids had a great time, which meant I did too. The Malpas is for me what holiday hotels should be, smart yet friendly, with good food and good facilities. Five stars from me.
