“A great escape - we will return!”
We've just returned from a fantastic week's stay at Altinkaya Holiday Resort, which we booked through GoNorthCyprus.com. Such a peaceful setting despite being just off the roadside and the bungalow we stayed in was perfectly clean, comfortable and quiet. There isn't tons of choice at mealtimes but the food is fresh and tasty so this wasn't an issue for us. The pool area is gorgeous, as are the grounds, and there are wonderful views down to the city. Very easy to catch the free shuttle bus into town for some sightseeing and the beach is just a short walk away. There's a supermarket nearby if you want to stock up but I would suggest definitely asking the staff for details of some great out of the way restaurants in Bellapais and Karakum if you want to eat out but escape the business of Kyrenia.
