We liked the reviews of Onar Holiday Village and booked a week away through GoNorthCyprus. The hotel is a little old fashioned but this adds to its charm, many other places we've stayed at in the past look the same and are very modern, so it was nice to stay somewhere with a bit of character. We had a pleasant, airy room, well equipped and with a superb view. The pool area is great and it's very enjoyable to eat of of doors. The staff are friendly and the hotel definitely has a family feel, nothing is too much trouble and the host spoke good English. There's a shuttle bus into town, which is very convenient. The only area that needs improvement is the food, it's pretty basic but I expect it's because the hotel often caters for large tour groups. Overall, though, we had a wonderful time.
