We visited the Korineum Golf Resort Hotel as a couple, both beginners to the sport, but had a wonderful time here. Booked a week away with gonorthcyprus and were impressed by the standard of both the hotel and the golf course. It's a clean, tidy and well looked after hotel, we had a clean, comfortable room with all the expected amenities and a comfortable bed. The golf was challenging for us two novices but we really enjoyed ourselves and made some new friends too. Food was excellent, views superb.... more

My wife and I had a great week at the Korineum, we don't usually leave reviews but I really was impressed so on this occasion I'm making the effort! We booked our break with gonorthcyprus, they've handled our bookings before and we know we can rely on them to get things right. When we arrived it was quite late but the staff had the kitchen open for us nonetheless, which was considerate. Our room was large and nicely decorated with all the modcons, great view of the distant sea too. Good breakfast,... more

I stayed at the Korineum recently with a couple of friends, we all enjoy golf and sun so it was an ideal choice - plus gonorthcyprus got us a deal that was too good to pass up! Great scenery all around the hotel, which overlooks the sea, I had a spacious, modern room with a superb view over the water. We really enjoyed the golf, the course isn't easy, it's relatively challenging - especially in the heat, and we really had a good time. The food was excellent and plentiful, very nice a la carte restaurant... more

I recently booked a break at the Korineum Golf Resort through gonorthcyprus, having never been to this part of Cyprus before. I wanted somewhere luxurious but what matters most to me is the standard of play, and I must say I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the course here. Very challenging and enjoyable with superb views from almost every tee. Very testing shots and you do need a level of physical fitness, just brilliant. Now for the rest of the stay: large, clean room, hotel well... more

I came to the Korineum solely to play golf, it has an excellent reputation for the sport so I booked a week with gonorthcyprus and got a good deal. When I arrived I was pleased to find my room was very clean and airy with a wonderful sea view from the balcony. The bathroom was very good too, large and with a separate shower cubicle - again, very well kept. I enjoyed both the a la carte and buffet meals although a bit more variety would have been appreciated. The golf course is superbly maintained... more

This hotel suits us as it has the 5 Star comfort but no casino which most others seem to have , Our room has a lovely sea view and a welcome breeze. we're not golfers so we have a hire car and explored the coastline up to the panhandle area and found lots of deserted coves and a more rural cyprus than we have been to before ,we are off tonight to see the turtles hatching and have another 3 days to go and then back to work unfortunately.... more

My wife and I booked a week's stay at the Korineum recently with GoNorthCyprus after reading the reviews and we found the hotel really did live up to expectations. Beautiful room, well-appointed, airy and spacious with a wonderful sea view and very large bathroom. Pleasant, attentive staff very keen to please and excellent food too, from both the buffet and the al a carte menu. I was very impressed by the golf course, which was beautifully maintained and has some challenging holes, we played a few... more

We'd heard about this Golf Course through friends and never having been to North Cyprus before took their recommendation and went to the Go North Cyprus website , It was very straightforward not wanting a long transfer from the airport we chose the local airport Ercan and though we had a touchdown in Turkey, the transfer was literally 35 Minutes , the Hotel is of very high standard in a fairly isolated but peaceful location , Our room overlooked the mountains and it was only a short stroll to the... more

Our initial concerns at the holiday booked for us as a gift was just for Golfers were put at ease by the conversations that we had with almost all of the staff at Go North Cyprus , I'm sure that we came across as annoying but, they took it all within their stride.Very comfortable Hotel with fantastic views ( Sea view room is worth the extra ) , we hired a car for a few days and found some wonderful secluded beaches ( Turtle beach was a 5 minute drive away, where we went one night to see the baby... more

With my 60th birthday coming up, I decided to treat myself to a luxurious golfing break. I found GoNorthCyprus online and Gary recommended the Korineum, a deluxe golfing hotel in Kyrenia. I travelled with my wife and we found the hotel staff welcoming and the building itself very luxurious and finished to a high standard. Our room was massive, as was the bathroom, and we had beautiful views from the balcony. I was keen to get on to the course, which I'd read was international standard – it didn't... more

We had such a wonderful week at the Korineum I had to write a review. We flew to Larnaca and arranged a return transfer to the resort. Some guests had flown to Turkey and had a few problems. When we got there we were offered an upgrade to an elite room on the upper level with sea view, so glad we took it! We booked our holiday through gonortherncyprus.com and they were outstanding from start to finish - a really personal service I thought.Everyone at the hotel was so welcoming and friendly, and... more

Excellent hotel and we were very pleased staying in this marvellous location. There were excellent facilities, such as restaurants , swimming pool and beach. Food was very nice and restaurants were very clean. Staff was good and attending to all needs. we have practice on golf range as well, but as we were not a good golf player did not take part in any competition. I would like to use the facilities again.... more

I have stayed before, and it was as good this time as it was before, with only a couple of small exceptions. The room was perfect, and the air-con was a great relief from the very hot day.The golf course and customer service, were both excellent and very accommodating. The main reception desk was well managed, and no question was to much, and they were very helpful. The only little downfalls were the pool was a little cloudy and had lots of small black bits in it. probably from the grills on the side... more

Stayed for 2 nights as a surprise for my wife's birthday. Wish we had more time as the location is stunning, the staff are superb and the service very slick. The room we had was a Junior sea view suite. Very clean, 2 small double beds, small lounge area with a very large bathroom with twin sinks, a large shower and separate bath with shower. The main hotel containing the reception, bar and restaurant is a short walk away. All meals were buffet style but plenty of choice and the salads and desserts... more

Stayed one night, but felt totally relaxed, We was given sea view room larger than your average hotel room. Huge bathroom with walk in shower and bath. Nice furnishings and proper balcony rattan table and chairs not plastic.Hotel offer regular free shuttle service to the beach which is 2 min away on the opposite side of the road. The sea is stunning to swim , just some pebbles on one side of the bay (so bring some beach shoes) plenty of sunbeds on the decking and grass area. Can get busy in the... more

We stayed at the Korineum Golf Hotel for the second time in late September . Our previous visit last year was the last of a three- hotel holiday and although all hotels were very good this one suited us best. It is set in beautiful grounds surrounded by flowers, trees and sits on the edge of the golf course that is itself a work of art with olive trees dotted around. The hotel is approached on a long drive bordered by flowering shrubs and trees. Because of its location the hotel is an oasis... more

I've come back from a social holiday with some golfing friends feeling refreshed and like I've had a really good week of golf. The Korineum Golf Resort Hotel does exactly what it says on the tin- offers great golf and in a lovely area. It's definitely nicer playing in warm weather without an umbrella! The golf at the Korineum offered us a challenge, on a well presented green. The contour changed a lot over the course and a lot of it was uphill but we liked this. The course is surrounded by quite... more

I booked a week's stay to North Cyprus for myself and a few colleagues. We're all keen golfers and fancied a bit of Autumn sunshine whilst playing lots of golf. I found the stay at GoNorthCyprus.com and spoke to Gary who advised that the Korineum Golf Resort would be perfect for our requirements. We have all returned desperate to go back to the resort. We found the hotel to be very good overall with really well sized rooms, equipped with all the facilities you'd expect from a hotel room. All of... more

A couple of days ago, we returned from our stay at this hotel. We had a good time, however we also think that there are some things that the hotel could do in order to improve the experience for the guests who book in there. One great point to make would be able to room. It was huge; easily the biggest one that I have ever stayed in (and I stay in a lot of hotels). Everything that was provided for the bathroom was great, and this aspect of the holiday definitely lived up to the five star rated that... more

We returned from North Cyprus last week where we chose to book into the Korineum Golf Resort. We were a large group of around 26, and this meant that it was very important for us to be able to find somewhere that everyone would be able to enjoy. We were hoping that the weather would be just right to allow us to play plenty of golf, and we were lucky to be able to do this every day during our stay. On the whole, we found everything to be good about both the hotel and the golf course itself. However,... more

I was very lucky to have been given a special treat holiday by my wife for my 50th- she took me to the Korineum Golf Resort as I am keen, but novice, golfer. Now I am the envy of all my friends and one very happy man! Everything about our holiday was just brilliant, but the golf had to be the best of all! The course was excellent, providing a good challenge to me as I practise at home on a small and simple course. I spent a lot of time either on the course or at the well-equipped driving range whilst... more

If you're looking for a very high quality golfing resort, Korineum Golf Resort should be your first choice in North Cyprus. The course itself is not only a worthwhile and challenging course, but the area's surroundings are second to none. I'd been told before arriving that the tee at the 5th offers an incredible view of the Mediterranean, and I would say for sure it is! If Golf is your reason to visit (which obviously mine was) you'll have a lot of fun on the green. There's a lot of tricky areas... more

I'm a long time golfing enthusiast and had heard rumours about how good the course is at this North Cyprus hotel. I booked through GoNorthCyprus holiday booking company as I'm not one who likes the hassle of searching for deals and trying to tie in travel arrangements and hotel bookings, so I was very pleased to allow somebody else do it for me! Anyhow, I arrived at the Korineum Golf Resort early in the morning and it was already a hive of activity. On first impressions, the hotel appeared to be... more

During October I took a weeks leave from work and travelled to North Cyprus to stay at the Korineum Golf Resort. A colleague in our office suggested we use a booking company he had previously dealt with, so I called them (go northern cyprus holidays) and after hearing our requirements they suggest the Korineum Golf Resort as a great match for us. Five of us travelled together primarily for a golfing trip. Only one of the group had even visited North Cyprus before so we didn't have a great idea about... more

My husband and I stayed at the Korineum Golf Resort for our daughters wedding in the middle of september. Our daughter had lived in Northern Cyprus for the last 5 years and both her and her new husband have been avid golfers for a very long time, so they decided the combination of the wonderful views and the golf course, would be a great place to tie the knot.Right away the hotel resort looking very busy, and it wasn't helped by the seemingly lack of staff struggling to deal with the queue of guests... more

I'd like to add a few words as a review for the Korineum Golf Resort so that other couples looking to elope for a faraway wedding might give this place some serious consideration! We chose to have our wedding here this August with a handful of close friends and family members, rather than go through the stress and expense of arranging a conventional wedding back home – we're so thrilled we did! Thank you so much to the staff and management at the Korineum for making our day such a special one. I... more

What would I say about the Korineum Golf Resort? As I like to be very fair and objective let's go through the positives and the negatives here. Firstly the hotel is fantastically suited to golfers – which I suppose you'd expect from a golf resort! But it's also a great place to stay to explaore the local area and even a good base if you're here on business trips. I noticed that there were quite a few guests walking around in suits carrying brief cases so I'm sure the whole 'doing business in a golf... more

Just a few lines to let you all know how my families stay went at the Korineum Hotel (Golf Resort). Having visited north cyprus previously and had a few bad experiences of choosing the wrong hotel we decided to use a holiday company and my husband found one that specialised in North Cyprus – GoNorthCyprus.com. We spoke with a lovely lady (I think her name was sue) and she gave us many options to consider. As my hubby is a keen amateur golfer this place caught our attention. We'd like to say a big... more

Ironically I don't play golf so I can only offer an objective opinion on the hotel itself. My company booked this up when I was unexpectedly delayed on a business trip and needed somewhere to stay for 3 nights. The location and backdrop for this place is really good. You can clearly see mountains and the sea line, and from talking to actual golfers, it makes an amazing place to play too.My room was fine. They are laid out in blocks of about 10-12 but aren't cramped at all. Theres lots of room inside... more

An unexpected trip away this March gave me the opportunity to see for myself what all the fuss was about over the Korineum golf resort in North Cyprus. As a late booking I approached a travel booking company we go to at www.gonorthcyprus.com. I'd personally been recommended to stay here by somebody I know to be very picky about their holiday haunts, so here's what I thought..- In terms of golfing, this is the most stunning course I've played on. It's views are pretty unbelievable and shows exactly... more

I'm a little apprehensive to write this review and for a good reason. This is the second time we've been lucky enough to find time in the new year to escape to Northern Cyprus for a break after the Christmas chaos and the first time it was superb. There wasn't a thing we could fault. As we had such a great time I managed to convince my wife to come back to the same hotel again. And that's where it all took a turn for the worse!Upon booking in we were dealt with rather abruptly, without any pleasantries.... more
