Here's our review of our stay at the Dome Hotel which we visited in early September. My friend and I had been charged around about £110 per night for 4 nights stay at the Dome Hotel. Im very sorry to say that I was less than impressed from the very outset. When we arrived I was quite shocked to see that this is a four star level hotel. At first i thought id read it wrong but no, it is infact a four star. The hotel itself is way too shabby and in need of too much improvement to believe its an actual four star hotel. We had booked a room with a 'sea view' but in reality we could only see the sea after ignoring and looking past the roof of the restaurant and the aircon units that buzzed on top. Not really impressive i thought. Then we had an issue with the food served here at the Dome.

The food looked so unappetising that we decided we wanted to eat out instead and didnt actually try the evening food at all. So in all fairness it may have tasted better than it looked. We had hoped that there would be an improvement in the breakfast, but it wasn't much better at all. It was straight forward enough however not of a four star standard that I'd expect. As for the good points, there were some really nice views from the pool. It had a sea view backdrop and I think its such a shame that this place isnt updated as the potential is certainly there for a really good place to visit. Investment would be worth its weight in gold for the Dome, please take this on board before booking.
