My family loved staying at the Topset, we had one of the best holdays! It was just effortless from start to finish and so relaxing. The Topset isn't one of these brand new ultra modern 'everything looks the same' hotels. I suppose in some ways you may think that it is slightly outdated but we felt that it was natural looking and its views were just stunning. The staff were also very friendly which gave it that personal touch, something you definitely wouldn't get from a more commercial hotel.

We were very impressed with our spacious room. I was particularly taken by the balcony and its promise of amazing views. You didn't feel like you were bunched up with a hundred other people sharing the same views on their balcony, it felt really serene and special.

The facilities at the hotel were fair, although some parts looked as though they hadn't been used in years. We weren't at all bothered by this though because we hadn't come away to be ultra active or do things we could've done at home. What attracted us most was the fact that it had such a diversity of scenery and culture and that you could really feel like you were somewhere completely different. Even the local restaurants (although very helpful and accommodating) stayed typical to the area and hadn't given over to all things English.

The hotel's beach was man-made which did feel a little bit wrong but nonetheless it was gorgeous and often so quiet (something we really liked.)

I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone (couples or families) who is looking for a relaxing holiday away from it all.
