The Savoy Ottoman was a stunning hotel, expectedly expensive, but everything you could want and expect from a five star hotel.

Upon arrival, both my husband and I were amazed by its lavish reception area- the marble added that touch of class. The room was equally as gorgeous. It was incredibly spacious, spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated and had excellent facilities such as a plasma TV.

Although we only stayed on a bed and breakfast basis, the choice and quality we had encouraged us to spend several evenings dining in the hotel's various restaurants and we were thoroughly pleased that we had.

In addition to dining in the hotel, we went out into Kyrenia to taste the food available. We were stunned by the variety and authenticity of food we found and all at a reasonable price (which was pleasing after spending so much at the hotel.)

The location of the hotel was perfect- we were fairly close to shops and restaurants. The sights in Kyrenia were so gorgeous that we spent most of our time during the day sight seeing or just lapping up the atmosphere in a local cafe. The facilities in the hotel were also excellent which meant that there wasn't a minute in the day where we were bored. I absolutely fell in love with the spa and would've loved more time to spend there!

This was the best holiday my husband and I have had together and we are very keen to come back. Not only was Kyrenia an amazing place to visit, with a mixture of entertainment and beautiful sights, the hotel was better than any we have stayed in, even in the UK.
