I've just come back from two weeks in North Cyprus, staying at the Rocks Hotel and I can honestly say that it was the best hotel abroad that I've stayed in. We got a brilliant deal from Sue at www.gonorthcyprus on a bed and breakfast basis.

The hotel was luxurious and everywhere had that special touch. The staff were also really friendly and attentive. The facilities were excellent, including the pool area and bar and the casino was so much fun! We didn't feel embarrassed or out of place as novices.

The hotel restaurants were really excellent. The breakfast buffet was always hot and was open really late compared to so many hotels I've stayed in. I think on one morning we didn't get there until half 10 and there was still plenty to offer! The evening meals were also excellent. In fact, the restaurants held their own, rather than serving typical mass produced hotel food.

Our hotel room was really comfortable and relatively spacious, with a table and chairs. The bathroom was also in a good state and the whole thing was very clean.

The location of the Rocks Hotel definitely added to its appeal as the transfer to and from the airport was relatively short. Also, it was situated in Kyrenia town so everything was close by. Although, I have to say, we spent a whole week at the hotel pool because it was just so relaxing!

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a quality holiday and we shall definitely be returning!
