Pia Bella Hotel Review - 98 of 149 Reviews

My husband and I stayed at the Pia Bella during the last week of April. We arrived at 9.45 pm and after checking in were shown to the restaurant for a very welcome meal. Our room was very comfortable and overlooked the pool, and there were plenty of loungers and other outdoor seating areas. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice though we only had dinner there twice as we like to go out and about and try different restaurants.

There were a couple of things we were disappointed with. On two occasions we were woken at 7am by loud banging noises from the builders who were working on an extension for the hotel and it was impossible to get back to sleep. The white wine in the bar was served at room temperature, and on the Saturday night there was a wedding reception in the main restaurant meaning the guests had to eat elsewhere in the hotel. This didn't trouble us too much as we ate out that night, but on returning to the hotel we felt that the service in the bar was compromised for the hotel guests. Also despite various reviews, the harbour was a good twenty minutes walk from the hotel, and my husband and I are not slow walkers.

Overall though, we did enjoy our stay at Pia Bella
