Merit Cyprus Gardens Hotel Review - 2 of 8 Reviews

I have just returned from the best holiday I've ever had! My mum booked a stay at the Merit Cyprus Gardens in the Famagusta area of Kyrenia. We've never been to Cyprus before but will certainly come again and again, especially as Famagusta is so authentic- we hardly bumped into any tourists. My mum booked the stay with www.gonorthcyprus, who were recommended to us by my godmother. She's always booked through them as they take the stress away from finding deals on accommodation and flights and they're so knowledgeable about the area! My mum spoke to Sue for ages about places to visit and restaurants to try.

The Merit Cyprus Gardens was the perfect hotel for our family holiday, with the most accommodating staff we could have wished for! They were so smiley and friendly and it really made our stay extra special.

We stayed in one of the Merit's bungalows, which was really really spacious and well equipped. A massive plus was the Wi-Fi and the English channels on the TV (not that we watched much!)

Although we went to North Cyprus in the lead up to the peak season, it didn't seem busy at all. The hotel has a beautiful beach next to it, which stretches on for what seems like miles, but not once did it ever feel crowded. If we got there early enough, we near enough had the whole beach to ourselves!

I only have good things to say about the Merit Cyprus Gardens, even the food was impressive for a hotel abroad. The breakfast buffet was really plentiful and everything was so fresh.

All in all, we had a holiday to remember forever and can't wait to come back next year!
