My wife and i booked a two week half board package holiday at the Malpas in November last year and revisited for a quick break away last month in May. It was recommended to us by a family member so we thought we'd give it a try. We were pleasantly surprised and enjoyed the accommodation, facilities and food. This second visit was even better, as we knew the scene, how the hotel operated and where we could enjoy evenings out.

We do enjoy a drink or two but found the wine in the restaurant and the contents of the room's mini bar were well overpriced which was a little disappointing but it did not distract from our overall enjoyment. The laundry facilty was also expensive so we used the local Wash & Go laundry shop just down the road. We missed having a tea and coffee facility in the room as we usually like to enjoy a cup of tea before we get up.

The staff, particularly the waiters in the restaurant were super! We also enjoyed the lovely sea view room with balcony where we relaxed in the evenings or should i say i did with an alcoholic drink or two, supplies purchased from the local supermarket (be very discreet though), whilst my wife spent all our holiday money in the Casino!!!

Every morning before breakfast we enjoyed 30 minutes in the indoor swimming pool totally to ourselves.

It was very good value for money, even the second time round, and the panoramic sea views were second to none!
