Lord's Palace Hotel Review - 1 of 12 Reviews

Every year we allow ourselves one luxury break and this year we chose the Lords Palace Hotel, which had just opened. We did a bit of research online first and spoke to Sue in bookings at GoNorthCyprus, who gave us all the details we needed to make an informed choice. We decided to book straightaway and Sue handled everything, even our transfers, so we felt we got a very good deal considering it's a five-star hotel. When we arrived, the staff couldn't be faulted, they welcomed us and attended to our every need – we were very impressed given the newness of the hotel. We had a lovely, luxurious room, which overlooked the sea, and were spoilt for choice with all the facilities. The rooftop terrace pool was fantastic with stunning views and the spa offered a good selection of treatments – I suffer with a bad back and had a wonderful massage, just what I needed after the flight. There are five restaurants and bars too, we visited them all during our fortnight's stay and enjoyed everything we ate but cannot recommend the a la carte restaurant enough – it even has a cigar menu! Just outside the hotel there's lots to see – the old harbour is around 25 minute walk away it's lovely for a relaxing stroll and the new harbour that services ferries to Turkey is right on your doorstep. . There's also a great casino in the hotel complex, which my husband enjoyed immensely. We had such a fantastic time we booked our return for 2017 as soon as we got back home!
