LA Hotel & Resort Review - 3 of 24 Reviews

My partner and I booked a short trip to North Cyprus and stayed at the LA Hotel and Resort. We were expecting something fairly basic as the price was really good but we actually got a lot more than we anticipated!

The hotel was quite large which meant that the pool was also large. We spent a lot of time sitting around it because although the hotel was quite busy, it never seemed overcrowded. The hotel grounds were really charming so the poolside felt just as nice as the beach did, without the annoyance of sand getting everywhere!

Our room was very comfortable and was kept spotlessly clean (as was the hotel in general) and everything seemed to be relatively new. There's nothing worse than staying somewhere with a half collapsed bed or noisy fridge and the LA Hotel had none of that!

We stayed for bed and breakfast at the hotel but found ourselves eating there in the evenings a couple of times. The food was average- typically what you'd expect from a hotel. It was fresh and hot but there wasn't a huge variety and it wasn't remarkable.

I think that anyone who is paying for a 3 star hotel could not be disappointed by the LA Hotel and Resort. It isn't the most plush hotel I've been in and nor does it have masses of facilities, but everything that it does have is well kept and clean. The hotel pool is probably one of its best assets. The staff are also really helpful and it was good to see the hotel manager getting involved with everyday jobs and talking to guests.
