Korineum Golf Resort Hotel Review - 9 of 31 Reviews

I'm a long time golfing enthusiast and had heard rumours about how good the course is at this North Cyprus hotel. I booked through GoNorthCyprus holiday booking company as I'm not one who likes the hassle of searching for deals and trying to tie in travel arrangements and hotel bookings, so I was very pleased to allow somebody else do it for me! Anyhow, I arrived at the Korineum Golf Resort early in the morning and it was already a hive of activity. On first impressions, the hotel appeared to be very well laid out and presented. If I had to stress one positive it would be the course. The course is EXCELLENT and has incredible views. It's actually quite difficult to put across in a review exactly how spectacular the course views are. Are think this is the reason people are so slow on their rounds! The course itself in terms of playability is good. It does provide a challenge and has some tricky areas where the slopes are misleading. For my time here, the weather wasn't great but I didn't expect anything this time of year and it also wasn't bad enough to interfere with my golfing experience.

My room was booked in 'block 5'. At the Korineum Golf Resort, the each block is numbered - They should probably think of a more elegant way to identify them. This block was known as a 'preferred' block which I think means it's a premium type room block. I had a great sized room which also had a lovely veranda. The bathroom was also pretty big and kept very clean which was important. I did think that although the breakfasts were good, they were slightly lacking in contrast to the high quality elsewhere in the golf resort. I never ate in the restaurants that are available in the clubhouse but having spoken with other guests, I'm told they are very good and offer a range of cypriot and french dining. As for hotel staff, I only had interactions with the front of house staff and the odd occasion I bumped into room service. On both times I found the staff to be very polite and happy.
