Ada Beach Hotel Review - 13 of 33 Reviews

My sister has had a particularly bad year with lots going wrong for her so to avoid the inevitable Christmas blues I decided I'd plan a secret trip away to somewhere she'd like to visit for the Christmas period. I know she's visited North Cyprus before and really enjoyed it so I chose to book here again. After a lot of searching the web and reading a few reviews I found a hotel called the Ada hotel. They were pretty busy in terms of availability but were very obliging and I booked a room for us. When we arrived I was extremely happy to see that our room was more than I expected it to be. It was large and pretty luxurious. I'm a stickler for hygiene so I can tell you first hand that it was also very clean! This was reflected in the rest of the Hotel too, clean, tidy, relaxing and worth every penny. There was a lovely swimming pool outside but due to the time of year it wasn't being used when we saw it. One very nice addition was a very local beach. I imagine in the summer seasons this is a huge selling point, but even this time of year it was really good just to go for a relaxing walk along it.

The food wasn't too bad. By that what I mean is that it was just as you'd expect in a Turkish hotel, primarily a buffet style breakfast. Again the food serving areas were very clean and this was such an important thing for many visitors to know. The evening food was delicious and we ate from an a la carte menu whilst we were here. Thankfully the staff here spoke very good English and were happy to help us out whenever we asked them for something.

All in all this was a very different and enjoyable way to spend Christmas and I'd thoroughly recommend staying here to anybody. I think the summer may be a very busy but if that's what you're looking for here is a great place to stay!
