Acapulco Beach Club Hotel Review - 78 of 127 Reviews

Stayed for a week at this hotel, the last week in October. Unfortunately we did not know this was a local religious festival and therefore the hotel was packed. There were thousands of people everywhere. The restaurant was like a school dining hall magnified a hundred times. If you get the chance, when busy, use the restaurant up the stairs - it is much nicer.

This is a good hotel with great facilities. Lovely (small) beach with beautiful clear water. Food is excellent, although to British tastes, could probably be a bit warmer. We asked the waiter for a wine list on our first evening, only to be told they don't have one. He also wanted us to pay cash rather than charge our drinks to the room! Watch out for varying prices if you try to order a bottle of wine.

Four of us had come to Northern Cyprus to play golf and hotel reception phoned for a taxi (people carrier) to take us up to the golf course which was about ten minute drive away. The golf club reception arranged the return taxi. This was a good arrangement which worked well and if you go in a quieter time, I am sure you would enjoy this hotel and its facilities. One word of warning, there is a slight hill to walk down to get to the restaurant which means you are walking up it on the return, so may not be as good for the less mobile. There is a bus from the hotel into Kyrenia for a small charge, but otherwise the hotel is in the middle of nowhere. However, all things considered, we enjoyed our holiday
